GovernmentOn January 2, the Senate confirmed Michael Kubayanda to be a Commissioner of the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) by voice vote. He fills an open seat that was previously held by former PRC Chairman Ruth Goldway and Kubayanda will serve for the remainder of the six-year term expiring on November 22, 2020.

Previously, Kubayanda served as Director of Government Relations for the USPS Office of the Inspector General (OIG). Before that, he served as counsel to the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.
