GrayHair Hires Dylan Purse as Vice President of Product Management

We are excited to announce that Dylan Purse has re-joined the GrayHair team as Vice President of Product Management, responsible for the company’s technology roadmap, product development and go-to-market strategies, as well as partner relationship initiatives. Dylan was

Dylan was senior product manager at GrayHair in 2012-2013, responsible for managing the product and offer mix for a portfolio of data hygiene, mail tracking, and postal processing services that enable clients to manage customer data and mailing activities.

Following GrayHair, he served in leadership roles at Bell and Howell as Senior Director and Product Strategy, and at Window Book as Senior Vice President of Operations.  Prior to first joining GrayHair in 2012, Dylan spent 13 years with Experian and received a succession of promotions to Senior Product Manager for List Processing Services.

Dylan received an M.B.A from Northern Illinois University, and a B.S. in Engineering Psychology from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Informed Visibility® Enables New Value for Flats Mailers

At the National Postal Forum 2017, the USPS® highlighted several exciting programs including the Informed Visibility® (IV®) initiative to the mailing industry. This replacement for IMb Tracing™ and the legacy IV data will give mailers new and enhanced insights into the visibility of their mail. Of particular interest is the enhanced visibility that will be available to flats mailers.

Due to the way in which the USPS processes flats mail and, in particular, Carrier Route-qualified flats mail that bypasses automation, visibility was not possible since that mail only saw manual operations. Informed Visibility will address this gap by supplying new bundle scan events, including associated scans.
