Due to the global pandemic, COVID-19, international mail operations are being impacted. Between flight cancellations, government measures, and other various disruptions, delays in mail and package deliveries are common.

These service disruptions affect Priority Mail Express International® (PMEI), Priority Mail International® (PMI), First-Class Mail International® (FCMI), First-Class Package International Service® (FCPIS®), International Priority Airmail® (IPA®), International Surface Air Lift® (ISAL®), and M-Bag® items.
Effective March 23, 2020, the U.S. Postal Service® will be temporarily suspending the guarantee on Priority Mail Express International due to airline travel restrictions and widespread airline cancellations destined for the following countries:
- France
- Great Britain
- Spain
- Sweden
- Switzerland
In addition, the temporary suspension of the guarantee on Priority Mail Express International destined for China and Hong Kong, which has been effective since Monday, February 10, 2020, is still in effect.
These suspensions will be in effect until further notice. The Postal Service™ is undertaking all reasonable measures to minimize the impact to its customers.
