Overall service performance for both Marketing and First-Class Mail has seen marked improvements over the last two months. The Letters are exceeding the same period last year, although the flats still lag. Periodicals also are not meeting their target or SPLY. 

For the period of 6/1/2025 through 6/27/2025 nationally aggregated destination & origin entered mail (National, outbound from ZIP Code 60446):

  • Marketing Mail letters delivered 96.23% on time, SPLY 94.65%. 
  • Marketing Mail flats delivered 82.77% on time, SPLY 84.61%
  • Periodicals delivered 80.21% on time, SPLY 84.12%
  • First-Class Presort Letters & Cards delivered 92.82% on time, SPLY 87.35%
  • First-Class Flats delivered 75.27% on time, SPLY 70.22%

National variance for the period of 7/03 – 7/09

Results show that destination entry through the SCF network provides greater stability and more consistent In-Home delivery services. 

MM Letters SCF entered delivered 98.55% on time and were at 99.7% with a +2 days.

MM Flats SCF delivered 96.03% on time, reaching 99% with a +2 days.
