July 2025 Postage Increase

July 2025 Postage Increase

The U.S. Postal Service recently filed notice with the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) of mailing services price changes to take effect July 13. The new rates include a 5-cent increase in the price of a First-Class Mail Forever stamp (increasing from 73 cents to 78 cents). The bulk mail price file has yet to be posted on the PRC site.

On February 18th the USPS announced that the PMG notified the Postal Service Board of Governors (BOG) that after nearly five years as the 75th Postmaster General it is time for them to begin the process of identifying his successor.  At that time, the process was expected to unfold over several months, with the BOG first hiring a search firm to identify potential candidates, followed by a selection process.
