The USPS filed a notice (R2021-2) today with the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) requesting a price increase that will raise all Market Dominant products including First-Class mail. This price increase is the result of the PRC ruling on the 10-Year Review which grants the USPS additional authority for things like loss of mail volume. The prices will increase on August 29th, 2021.
