On July 11, Idealliance announced that Vice President Timothy Baechle will become the non-profit organization’s new Chief Executive Officer effective October 1, 2018. Baechle is replacing David Steinhardt, who served as President and CEO since 2001.
Baechle has spent his entire career in the packaging, printing, and converting industry. Early in his career, he built a software company and also invented a hardware technology, which grew into a global operation. For over a decade he served as CEO of two companies – Equilibria LP and Innovatia Holdings PLC. He is multi-lingual and an ISO Standards Committee Expert and Voting Delegate, Member of the U.S. Technical Advisory Group to ISO, Parent Committee for Graphic Arts Technical Standards, Commission Internationale de l’Eclairage, and G7 Expert. Steinhardt will be staying on for a couple of years to ensure a smooth transition and to see through some important Postal issues being worked on by Idealliance membership.
On June 14, Idealliance announced that Wayne Marshall, President, Flatout Branding & Design, has been elected Chairman of the organization’s Board of Directors. Joining Marshall as newly elected Idealliance officers are Traci L. Lucien, Vice President, Print Center, AARP, to serve as Vice Chairman; Dino Pagliarello, Vice President, Product Management & Planning, Konica Minolta Business Solutions USA, Inc., serving as Treasurer; and Joan Solà, Executive Vice President, Chief Global Markets, Zinio LLC, as Secretary.
