It looks like there may soon be a functioning USPS® Board of Governors (BOG). If so, one of the first orders of business is to get 2018 USPS Promotions filed for approval by the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC).
The Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs held hearings on Wednesday, April 18, to examine the three nominations to be a Governor of the United States Postal Service:
- David Williams of Illinois
- Robert M. Duncan of Kentucky
- Calvin R. Tucker of Pennsylvania
Why are these nominations important? As mentioned above, one of the first orders of business is to get 2018 USPS Promotions filed for approval by the PRC. The BOG provides discounts for which many of our customers have budgeted. Since a Board is needed to file price changes, if approved, we will likely see a price change in January 2019.
