With the introduction of the new Green & Secure Alternative Move Update Method, the USPS® announced a change to the Move Update census-based assessment start date so that both items can be implemented on the same date. In order to allow mailers time to respond to the proposed Federal Register Notice and to enroll in Green & Secure, the USPS has delayed the Move Update Census assessments until April 2018. The April assessments will be based on March data.
The Green & Secure alternative method is designed to minimize the volume of undeliverable-as-addressed (UAA) mail by reducing the number of return-to-sender mailpieces. Here’s a link to more details and the link to the weekly Wednesday webinars on Move Update.
